AUBURN -Post-season playoffs in the Auburn Rec Players Softball League are set to begin tonight. Six final regular season games were scheduled to be played last night, most effecting the final standings.
Tonight’s slate has 16 meeting 17 at 6:00 at Upper Pettengill, and 15 vs 18 at 7:30.
The 6:00 winner will meet the No. 1 seed on Monday, August 13 at 6:00 at Pettengill. Other Monday games have 4 vs 7 at Lakeview-1; 5 vs 12 at Lake-2; and 2 vs 15-18 winner at Pettengill at 7:30. The tourney continues throughout the month, with the championship game set for Tuesday, August 28 at 7:00 at Pettengill.

LEWISTON – Buddy T’s Restaurant & Pub is the No. 1 seed for the Lewiston Rec Coed American Softball League playoffs to be held Saturday at Randall Road and Upper Franklin.
Saturday’s opening schedule is as follows: 8 a.m., buddy T’s (1) vs Citistreet *8), Randall-1; Play It Again Sports (4) vs DHHS (5), Randall-2; Mulligan’s (2) vs McDonald’s (7), Randall-3; Gilbert Masonry (3) vs Akers Crusasders (6), Upper Franklin.
The tourney continues all day, with the championship game set for 4:15 at Randall-3. Following are final standings:
