NORWAY – Katura in Concert, featuring singer/songwriter Regina Wells of San Francisco, self-accompanied by guitar and percussion, will be presented Sunday, Aug. 12, at The Commons, 447 Main St.

Wells has collaborated with such well-known artists as Linda Tillery, Rhiannon, Carolyn Brandy, Bobby McFerrin, Dance Brigade, and Carlos Santana.

She is also currently a member of Ojala, a six-women drumming, dancing and singing group performing the passions of Afro-Cuban folk music with traditional and contemporary arrangements. She also heads her own group, KATURA, performing contemporary Afro-Cuban and funk/rock originals.
