AUBURN – Taber’s Lakeside Stand will put on an old-fashioned sock hop beginning at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25. Admission is $1, with proceeds benefiting the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society.

Disc jockey services will be provided by Music Reflections.

People are encouraged to dress in oldies attire. There will be a twist contest for a Taber’s gift certificate.

Burgers, hot dogs and fries will be sold for $1 while supplies last.
