Dear Sun Spots: I am writing you in hopes that perhaps one of your readers can help me. I am trying to collect folding aluminum lawn chairs with webbed seats and backs, the old type that are no longer made anymore, but were very popular in the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.

The chairs do not have to be in good condition, and are acceptable even if they have no webbing as long as the aluminum frame is in good condition and still folds easily.

I am collecting these chairs for the Central Maine Chair Swingers, a marching drill team that uses folding lawn chairs in their routine.

The team has marched in several parades this year and always needs backup lawn chairs. We are willing to re-web any donated chairs as needed.

If you have a chair you would like to donate, please call me at 783-0239. – Gail Burgess, Auburn.

Dear Sun Spots: Your readers have helped me in the past and I require their help again.

I started an afghan and ran out of the yarn to complete it. I need skein or part of a skein of teal ombre.

This was sold in Wal-Mart in ¾-pound jumbo supersaver.

Wal-Mart still has this yarn in a plain color but does not have it in the variegated color I am seeking. I would be willing to pay a reasonable price. The skein is 12 ounces, but I do not need the whole amount to finish my project, so a partial skein would suffice. I can be reached at 784-4106. Thank you again for your help. – R.C., Auburn.

Dear Sun Spots: I have a real easy pattern to make baby booties.

Please have the lady who contacted the column recently seeking such a pattern, call me at 755-2868. Thank you. – Jan, Lewiston.

Dear Sun Spots: This is in response to the lady who wanted a 46C size bra:

Women Within, www.womenwithin.com, formerly Lane Bryant, has bras from 38 to 58C to DD and DDD and J. So, most everyone should be able to get their correct size. – Millie Wood, Farmington.

Dear Sun Spots: I am looking for two items to repair my lawnmower.

If anyone has these items within a reasonable distance of Livermore, I am willing to pay a small fee if necessary.

The items are a recoil switch for a 7HP Tecumseh motor and a starter for 15HP Tecumseh motor. Please contact me at 897-4374 or send a letter to Matthew Grover, P.O. Box 665, Livermore, ME 04353. I repair lawnmowers and chain saws at reasonable rates. I am a teenager looking to make a little extra money to buy school clothes. Thanks. – Matthew Grover, Livermore.
