LEWISTON – There is plenty of softball upcoming.

Openings remain for the Lewiston Rec Men’s Fall Softball League and the Andy Valley Coed Corporate Softball Tournament.

A total of 11 teams have registered for the fall league and 1 more is needed. This league is set to begin Sept. 9.

The coed tourney is slated for Sept. 8. So far there are 4 entries. Four more teams are sought.

AUBURN -Tuesday playoff scores in the Auburn Rec Players Softball League: E.S.M. 3, Meineke 2; Webber Ave.-Buckfield 20, Hart Transportation 0; Major Automotive 10, Lincoln Street Radiator 4, Pride Concrete over Interstate Batteries.

Tonight’ schedule: Winner Hart Transportation-Major Automotive vs Winner Meineke-Pride, Pett., 6:00; E.S.M. vs Webber, Pett., 7:30 (winner advances to Tuesday’s finals.)

On Friday, the loser of E.S.M.-Webber will tangle with a loser’s bracket survivor at 6:00 at Pettengill.
