JAY – The eighth annual ATV Toy Run will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, rain or shine.
It is being sponsored by the Western Maine ATV Club, Canton Trail Riders and the Mountain View ATV Club.
There will be raffles, poker at $5 a hand, a free barbecue and local dealer displays. Toys will remain in the area.
Those going should meet at McDonald’s parking lot in Jay at 7:30 a.m. or meet at Jack’s Logging in Farmington at 9 a.m. Registration will be from 8 to 9:45, meal tickets will be handed out, and riders will draw the poker hands.
The group will leave Jack’s Logging at 10 a.m. to ride to Canton where they will leave the toys, then on to Jay for a barbecue. Winners of the poker hand and raffles will be announced in Jay.
Participants are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy or cash donation. Last year there were 502 riders and they raised $10,500 for the community.
