Cindy Bohren will provide Christmas music on the baby grand at the Green Church Christmas Fair on Saturday, Nov. 3, in Mexico.

Church to sponsor ‘Christmas at Green’

MEXICO – The annual “Christmas at the Green” Fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Mexico Congregational United Church of Christ (also known as the “Green Church”), Main Street.

Fairgoers will see cider presses working on the front lawn and will be able to purchase fresh gallons or half-gallons. Inside, they will find crafts, raffles, baked goods, books and puzzles and children’s activities.

The attic treasures will makes a return this year. Raffle items will include a hand-braided wool rug, a quilt, 50/50 and a Chinese auction. Coffee and muffins will be served in the morning, as well as a hot lunch starting at 11:30 a.m.

Cindy Bohren will play favorite Christmas tunes on the baby grand piano in the church sanctuary from mid-morning. Guests are invited to sit in the sanctuary to listen to the music.

The final offering of the day will be a public supper at 5 p.m. Turkey with all the fixings and homemade pies will be served.
