Supper/dance

RUMFORD – There will be a spaghetti supper and a night of dancing to benefit the local food pantry on Friday, Nov. 2, at the American Legion on Congress Street. The spaghetti supper will be from 6 to 7 p.m., dancing 8 to midnight. Cost will be $7 a person, $5 for those who donate a nonperishable item. Music will be provided by Eric Schmersal and Band.

Club meeting

MEXICO – The Mexico Trail Blazers will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, downstairs at the Mexico Town Hall. Anyone joining before Dec. 5 will be eligible to win $200. For more information, contact Nick Brown at 364-8665.

Pie sale

CANTON – Ponemah Rebekah Lodge will hold a Thanksgiving pie sale. Available flavors are mince, chicken, pecan, $10 each; pumpkin, apple, lemon, chocolate cream, $8 each. People should order by Friday, Nov. 16.

Pick-up will be between 9 and 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Ponemah Rebekah Lodge Hall. For more information and placing an order, call Jolene at 597-2168.

Tree lighting

CANTON – Ponemah Rebekah Lodge 28 will sponsor its 11th annual memorial holiday tree lighting. Light a bulb on the tree in memory of a loved one at $2 a bulb a name. The tree will be lit from Nov. 22 through Dec. 31.
