LEWISTON – Worldwide Marriage Encounter will offer a weekend of enrichment for married couples Friday through Sunday, Nov. 2 to 4, at the Ramada Inn. The weekend is designed for any married couple who wants to deepen their connection, whether they have been married for only a short time or for many years.
The weekend will begin at 8 p.m. Friday and end between 4 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday. A series of presentations will be given to the group. After each presentation, the couples will have time for personal reflection and discussion in the privacy of their own room. Sharing in the group is not required by participants.
Many concepts will be presented throughout the weekend, but the emphasis will be on developing a communication technique that fosters a deep and intimate connection in a spirit of love and understanding.
The weekend is Roman Catholic in orientation and is expressed in the tradition and understanding of the Catholic church. However, anyone is welcome and spaces are available for couples of other faiths.
The next opportunity to attend a weekend will be April 11 to 13, 2008. For more information, or to register, go to www.wwmenewengland.org or contact Dave and Ellie Mulcahy at 933-4237.
