The Farmington Diner was dark and quiet Monday following its closing on Sunday. The diner has been sold to make way for a Rite-Aid on the Intervale. Neither owner Rusty Wood nor his brother Brian Wood was not available Monday for a comment on any plans for the diner. Next door, C.N. Brown has not set a date to close its gasoline business but it will probably be the middle of next month, said a company representative Monday. The company will relocate the business to West Farmington.
