NORWAY – The Norway open mic night will say goodbye to 2007 on Friday, Dec. 28, at the First Universalist Church, 479 Main St. Sign-up for performers begins at 6:30 p.m., and the open mic begins around 7. Admission is $3 and refreshments are available.

Performers of all ages are encouraged to bring and share their acoustic instruments, music, dance, comedy and poetry in a fun, supportive and relaxed atmosphere. There are vending opportunities for those with CDs or writing for sale.

This is a wonderful venue for first-timers, or even for veteran performers looking for a forum to try out new material. A refreshing alternative to the bar scene – it is also a great evening for the whole family at the beautiful and historic downtown Norway church.
