AUBURN – Maurice and Brenda Cote of Auburn are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lorrie Ann Cote, to Jason Steven Chasse of Lewiston, son of Phillippe and Kathy Mercier of Sabattus.

Miss Cote is a 1997 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 1999 graduate of Mount Ida College with an associate degree in child study. She is also a 2004 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in early childhood special education. She is currently employed at the Vineyard Christian School, teaching kindergarten.

Mr. Chasse is a 2000 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2004 graduate of Springfield College with a bachelor’s degree. He is currently employed at Andy Valley School of Gymnastics.

A Feb. 16 wedding is planned.
