LEWISTON – The Lewiston Department of Recreation will hold instructional clinics for Indoor T-ball Skills and Drills from Sunday, March 9, through April 27 (no classes March 23rd). The seven-week program will be directed by Tracey Knowles.

Participants will learn basic knowledge of the game, as well as participate in drills to learn catching, fielding, throwing, and running bases. Teamwork will be taught and promoted throughout the program. No games will be played, and cleats are not necessary.

Clinics will be held at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch Street, Lewiston. There will be two sessions – session No. 1 for 4-5 year olds will be held from 2-2:45 p.m.; session No. 2 for 6-7 year olds will be held from 3-3:45 p.m. The program is limited to 50 participants.

The cost for Lewiston residents is $35, which includes a t-shirt. The cost for non-residents is $45. Inquiries regarding this program are directed to 513-3005. Registration may be made at the Lewiston Department of Recreation, Central Avenue, before March 8.
