LEWISTON – Audrey B. Bergeron of Lewiston, a senior at Lewiston High School, has been selected to receive the 2008 Principal’s Award, Principal W. Gus LeBlanc has announced.
The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
LeBlanc said, “Audrey has consistently demonstrated the characteristics of responsibility and dependability so necessary in any leader. Throughout her years at Lewiston High School, Audrey has distinguished herself in the classroom, in interscholastic competition, and as a leader in the school and community.”
Bergeron and LeBlanc will attend an honors luncheon in Bangor on Saturday, April 5. Bergeron is the daughter of Claude and Claudeen Bergeron of Lewiston.
