DURHAM – State police were at the scene of a serious crash on Route 136 near the intersection of Route 9 late Saturday night where at least two people were injured.

One of the injured was transported by LifeFlight helicopter, and another was transported to Central Maine Medical Center by Durham Fire and Rescue.

The vehicle struck a pole. There were live wires down on the road leaving area residents without power.

No further details were available as of 10:30 p.m.

Route 136 was closed to through traffic.
