LEWISTON – The High School Federation will sponsor a softball clinic by Dennis Crowe on Tuesday, April 1, at 7 p.m. at the Lewiston Armory. All softball umpires or coaches are welcomed.
Andy-Valley Umpires Softball Association will have its first meeting of the 2008 season Wednesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. at the Lewiston Armory.
An ASA mechanics clinic for softball officials will be held Thursday, April 3, at the Lewiston Armory from 6-8:30 p.m. Steve Roscia, the state umpire-in-chief, and Norm Davis, the New England Region 1 umpire-in-chief, will hold this mandatory clinic for veteran and first year officials. This is a must clinic if an official wants to be considered for postseason high school games.
Brunswick softball
The Brunswick womens softball league will be holding their first meeting on 2 April 2008, 1800 hours at the Brunswick Recreaction Department 30 Federal Street Brunswick, Maine Classroom, for all Coaches, Managers and new teams wanting to join the league.
