Dear Sun Spots: I would like to know if there is an all-you-can-eat buffet for the following places: KFC, Wendy’s, Pizza Hut, in this area or somewhere in Maine. Thank you very much. – R.B.J., Lewiston.

Pizza Hut at 445 Center St. is Auburn also has an all-you-can-eat buffet Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. The price is $6.49 for adults, $3.49 for anyone under 12 and children under 3 eat for free. They also offer a 10 percent discount for senior citizens and offer the AAA discount. A spokesperson from Wendy’s said that they haven’t offered a buffet to customers for at least five years.

Dear Sun Spots: I read your column every day, and your responses have been so helpful in the past. I am writing to ask what exactly has happened to Bagels and Things on Center Street in Auburn. I ate there a couple weeks ago, no one mentioned it closing. I have noticed driving by the last week or so it has been empty with a moving truck out front. I stopped by today to see if there was a sign or anything giving any clue. It had a sign that read it was going to be demolished but no sign about the status of the restaurant; I know for awhile they had a sign up saying they were relocating and trying to sell the location. Has Bagels and Things moved locations and if so, where are they now located or have they gone out of business? Thanks for all your help. – Caitlin, Poland.

Dear Sun Spots: Can you please tell us if Bagels and Things in Auburn will be reopening in another spot? This is our favorite breakfast spot in Auburn and we visit a couple of times a week. We are already missing it. Thanks. – No Name, New Gloucester.

Answer: Sun Spots has learned that the former Bagels and Things building has been sold. According to the owner of Bagels and Things, Mike Rossignol, the restaurant is planning to reopen but he is unable to say when or where at this time. We will continue to keep you informed as this is a favorite breakfast spot for many of our readers!
