HEBRON – Hebron Academy’s 25-member math team had a successful year. The 10 members of the green team placed first in Class D in the regular season and first in Class D at the recent Maine Math Meet, with four team members making perfect scores.

Eight members of the team will represent Hebron at the New England Invitational Math Meet in Canton, Mass., on May 2.

In addition, five members of the team, the four gold medalists and Joon Sung Lee, have qualified to compete for Maine in the American Regions Math League competition on Friday and Saturday, May 30 and 31, at Penn State University, University Park, Pa.
