WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) – Tim Brent scored with 30 seconds left to end the Portland Pirates’ season and give the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins a 3-2 win in Game 7 of the American Hockey League’s Eastern Conference finals.

Tim Brent, whe played the past two seasons in Portland, put in a rebound to break a tie after the Pirates rallied from a 2-0 deficit Saturday night.

The Pirates lost in the seventh game of the conference finals for the second straight season.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will play the Chicago Wolves for the Calder Cup, starting Thursday at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill.
