CARRABASSETT VALLEY – This year’s United Way Classic Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, June 19 at Sugarloaf Golf Club. Sponsored by Franklin Savings Bank, Androscoggin Bank, Farmington Ford, and Main-Land Development, this year’s tournament is offering a number of prizes including several $50 cash prizes, a ProTour Memorabilia Gift, a $250 American Express gift card, an iPod Nano, and a 2008 Ford Focus. In addition to the chance to win a number of great prizes, participation in the golf tournament includes lunch at Sugarloaf Golf Club, the 18-hole greens fee and cart, as well as,the opportunity to play at the course Golf Digest calls one of the 100 greatest public golf courses in America.
