AUBURN – L/A Community Little Theatre will present A.R. Gurney’s “Sylvia,” a play about a dog, the couple who adopt her and the drama that results, June 13-15 and June 19-22.

Greg, played by Roger Philippon, finds Sylvia, played by Liz Rollins, in the park and immediately takes a liking to her. He brings her back to the house he shares with Kate, played by Karen Lane.

Other characters include Tom, a dog owner, played by Jason Pelletier; Kate’s good friend Phyllis, played by Pat Phillips; and Leslie, a marriage counselor, played by Jackie McDonald.

The show is directed by Eileen M. Messina, with assistance from Celeste Philippon, and produced by Michael Litchfield. The remainder of the production team includes Vicki Machado, stage manager; Melody Driscoll, prompter; Michelle Washburn, lighting operator; and Josie French, publicity.
