FARMINGTON – A Tot Spot Family Tent will be a presence at this year’s annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday, July 26, and Wilton’s Blueberry Festival on Saturday, Aug. 2.

The events offer many activities for children, but it has been a challenge for families to find a space to change diapers, breastfeed, get out of the sun and relax. Under the tent there will be a changing table, chairs and coloring pages and crayons for young children to take a break from the action. Also available will be information and educational materials from local children’s programs.

At the Farmington Strawberry Festival, the Tot Spot Family Tent will be available in front of the Children’s Task Force on Church Street.

At the Wilton Blueberry Festival, the tent will be in front of the Wilton Free Public Library. A couch and chair will be available for nursing and feeding mothers, with changing areas in both bathrooms, at Nichols Expo and the Shoe Shop Cafe.
