FARMINGTON – Franklin Community Health Network has openings for its final free two-week session of accelerated art instruction for teens ages 12 to 16. It will take place July 28 through Aug. 8 in the new Franklin Health Medical Arts Center next to Franklin Memorial Hospital.

The final session will focus on creating paintings using collage. The workshops will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The artwork produced will be based on Maine animals and Native American folklore.

Workshop sessions and materials are free.

Students will participate in tai chi with Peter Shaffer three days a week.
