All Souls Chapel was built in 1912 as an interdenominational place of worship with donations from the Ricker Family and from guests and staff of the Poland Spring House. In 1977, the chapel was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Among the chapel’s many beautiful features are nine painted glass windows named after generous benefactors, a paneled oak ceiling, a mosaic tile floor, and a marble and gilt pulpit. The 1926 Skinner Pipe Organ and a set of Westminster Chimes were purchased by the guests of the resort and still work today.

All Souls Chapel is now home to the Poland Spring Preservation Society’s Summer Concert Series. The chapel is still used for weddings, christenings, and other ceremonies. FMI, call 998-4142.
