Kindergarten: Kindergarten students will attend school all day. The kindergarten students will ride the same buses as the older students. Parents that have questions for pick up times for a kindergartner may call either the Transportation Supervisor, Mr. Kenneth Robbins at 562-7460 or Elementary Principal, Ms. Kathy Richard at 562-4207 or 562-7223.
BUS PICK UP TIME: During the first week of school, bus pick up times may vary up to fifteen (15) minutes. Students should be at their pick up points on time. If parents have any questions regarding the bus schedule, information can be obtained by calling the transportation supervisor, one of the building principals, or the superintendent’s office.
Activity Bus Runs: The District provides an activity bus for the transportation of students during non-school hours. These runs will depart from the high school and middle school at approximately 5:00 pm in the fall and spring and approximately 6:00 pm in the winter. Students are dropped off at their homes if they are located along one of the designated routes. Otherwise, they are dropped off at the designated location in each community.
Away Activities: Students who participate in sports or other activities are returned to Dixfield following the activity. These students may be dropped off if their homes are along the bus routes as they return to Dixfield. The Board has a policy that allows parents or legal guardians to take their children home with them following away activities.
