This is in response to Franklyn Sampson’s letter, “Are you happy now?” (Sept. 12)

I am happy now. We have not been attacked since 9/11.

And yes, I’m proud of myself for not voting for John Kerry. If Kerry would have won in 2004, we would have been attacked again, just like when President Clinton was in office. America was attacked multiple times and nothing was done about it.

So, yes, I’m happy now.
