FARMINGTON – The Farmington Ski Club will host the 26th annual ski sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Mt. Blue High School. The club expects to have more than 2,500 items, including downhill and cross country skis and boots, snowboards, poles, helmets, clothing and other winter recreation items.

In addition to used equipment there will be four ski shops on hand with new equipment: Northern Lights, Ski Depot, Sport Haus and Carter’s Cross Country.

There will be volunteers from the club and the University of Maine at Farmington to help parents properly fit equipment.

Used equipment can be dropped off for consignment at the high school from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7. The fees are 50 cents for each item put in the sale. If the item sells, the ski club retains 15 percent of the sale price. There will be volunteers to help tag and inventory the equipment dropped off.

Also during the Saturday event, the club will have a one-day sale on club membership and season passes to Titcomb Mountain. Individuals can receive $10 off a person for alpine or combined season passes and $5 off a person for Nordic season passes.

Farmington Ski Club membership includes discounts for children’s programs at Titcomb Mountain, $10 discount for day tickets at Saddleback Mountain and vouchers for day tickets at Sugarloaf and Sunday River for club members 18 years and younger.
