HEBRON – Hebron Academy captured the boys’ soccer MAISAD championships with a 3-2 victory over Kents Hill.

Mike Skelton scored the game-winner in the 80th-minute mark on a free kick from 35 yards out that knuckled past the Kents Hill goalie.

Vlad Gavrik scored the first goal for the Lumberjacks (10-2-3) and Billy Brewster followed by converting a penalty kick for a 2-0 halftime lead. Ethan Ford and Richard Bailey scored for Kents Hill (6-5-3).

Hebron was forced to play the last 20 minutes with one less player due to a red card.

Corey Lescault made seven saves for Hebron.

Hebron 28, Kents Hill 14

HEBRON – Alex Siwila-Sackman caught a pair of touchdown passes and Levi Lincoln scored two more to lead Hebron Academy to its first win of the season, a 28-14 victory over Kents Hill iin prep school football.

The Lumberjacks (1-7) broke open a 15-14 game in the final quarter with two touchdowns.

Quarterback Brian McDonald threw three TD passes.
