LIVERMORE FALLS – Selectmen plan to conduct second interviews with town manager candidates Monday night, interim Town Manager Kristal Flagg said.

Nineteen candidates applied for the position left vacant when former Town Manager Martin Puckett left in September to manage three towns in Aroostook County.

The search committee initially chose seven applicants to interview and narrowed that pool to two.

Selectmen have one candidate confirmed for a second interview at 6 p.m., Nov. 21, at the town office, Flagg said, and hope to set up a second interview with the other candidate that night as well.

The interviews will be conducted in executive session.
