WATERFORD – The Waterford World’s Fair hosted a potluck dinner on Nov. 15 at the Waterford Memorial School. Displays from last year’s fair were set up in the school gym and a short video was available on a computer for people to view. Photos from past years’ fair were also included in the video.

Homemade dishes were shared, then there was a short discussion on the events planned for the World’s Fair in 2009. Several new ideas were introduced and many volunteered to help with displays and demonstration during the fair.

The Waterford World’s Fair Association is planning to hold another potluck dinner and informational meeting in May at the fairgrounds. Everyone bringing a dish to share will be asked to provide a copy of the recipe and any other recipes they would like to share. The recipes will be put in a cookbook that will be ready for sale during the Waterford World’s Fair on July 24, 25 and 26.

The next association meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Waterford Town Office building. New members and visitors are always welcome. For more information, call 583-4146
