Interpreted stories
WILTON – The Wilton Free Public Library invites all area children to attend an interpreted storytime at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the library.
Interpreted storytimes are offered on the first Saturday of the month by Hands On PAH, a program designed to make the library more user-friendly for deaf and hard of hearing children, adults and their families.
This month’s story will be “The Garden Wall” by Phyllis L. Tildes.

Church luncheon
FARMINGTON – The Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13. The menu will include tuna noodle casserole, green beans, coleslaw and brownies.
Delivery service will be available in the Farmington area. Call the church office at 778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 778-4438 on the morning of the luncheon to have a meal delivered.
Santa’s workshop
WILTON – A Santa’s workshop for kids shopping for parents will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, corner of School and High streets. New and gently worn gift items are available for children to purchase for parents. There will be nothing over $1 and gift wrapping will be included. For more information, call the church at 645-2639.
