LEWISTON – Lewiston Jr. Maineiacs Bantam Travel hockey team continued its roll against in-state competition with weekend victories over Capital District, 11-2, and Rockport, 6-1.

Eric Soucy scored four goals and two assists in the win over the Augusta squad. Bobby St. Hilaire also logged a hat trick and one assist. Jake Bergeron potted a pair of goals. Tanner Hubbard chalked up a goal and an assist, with Brendan Pelletier also delivering a goal. Luke Olehowski and Alex Gregoire combined for seven assists, while James Waldrin and Brendan Landry each produced one assist. Evan Bourassa backstopped the victory.

Bergeron (two goals, one assist) and Gregoire (one goal, two assists) led the charge against Rockport. St. Hilaire and Olehowski each picked up a goal. Soucy, Hubbard and Korey Mulherin dished out assists. Noah Hutchinson was the victorious netminder.

Lewiston is now 6-0 against Maine rivals and 11-2 overall. The Jr. Maineiacs face Bangor at home Saturday before visiting Casco Bay on Saturday.
