SEABROOK, N.H. (AP) – Four men wanted in connection with thefts in Kittery, Maine, face multiple charges after leading police on a high-speed chase.

Around 8 p.m. Saturday night, Seabrook Officer Frank Brown spotted a Jeep heading south on Interstate 95 that had been reported stolen and was being sought in connection with several thefts in Maine.

Brown attempted to stop the car, but said the driver took off at 90 mph.

The driver eventually got off the highway in Byfield, Mass., where he headed down a one-way street, nearly hit Brown’s cruiser, drove over a snow bank and crashed into the garage of a nearby home.

Police say the four men in the car, who are from Massachusetts, will likely face charges in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
