Central Maine Power Co. reported outages in Lewiston, Sabattus and Wales beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

A CMP spokesperson said transmission line issues were a possible cause, and it was not immediately known how many customers were affected.

The outage lasted approximately 90 minutes; all power was restored by 12:30 p.m., midway through President Barack Obama’s inaugural speech.
