Orlando Fla.- Michael A. Goddard, 54, of Brown Street, Auburn, died unexpectedly while on vacation on Friday, Feb. 13, at Celebration Hospital, in Orlando, Fla.

He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 25, 1954, a son the late Milton and Alberta Perry Goddard. He was educated in Auburn and attended Edward Little High School. After high school he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Michael had been a car salesman for many years working at various car dealerships and most recently at Old Mill Auto in Mechanic Falls. He was a member of the American Legion, post 153, and The American Legion Riders, post 202. He enjoyed taking rides on his Iron Horse Texas chopper, but his biggest enjoyment of all was his children and grandchildren, he loved them so much. He also enjoyed watching his son’s athletics for Edward Little High School and was one of their biggest fans. He was a very talented musician and was known for his ability to play, sing and write songs. He will be missed for his amazing sense of humor, his kind heart and his willingness to help anyone who needed it.

Michael is survived by two daughters, Wendy Blouin and her husband, Mike, of Lewiston, and Lori Goddard of Auburn; a son, Cody Goddard of Auburn; two grandsons, Ryan Blouin and Adam Goddard; his fianceé, Kaye Bouchard of Topsham; two sisters, Sandra Mabry and her husband, Kevin, of Auburn and Lisa Goddard of Canton; a brother, Danny Goddard of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Karley Blouin.
