Criminal Mischief

A mailbox at 766 Webster St. was smashed overnight Feb. 16-17.

Thefts

A student of Bates College had their iPod stolen from their dorm room sometime prior to 7 p.m. on Feb. 19.

A customer of McDonalds at 1035 Lisbon St. had her purse stolen from inside the restaurant on Feb. 18. The purse had been forgotten and someone had stolen it before the owner realized it was missing.

A patron of Planet Fitness at 40 East Ave. had their Ugg boots stolen from their locker on Feb. 19 prior to 7 p.m.

MV Burglaries

A vehicle parked at the CMMC parking garage was burglarized overnight Feb. 15-16. A vehicle registration and insurance card were taken.

Robbery

A pedestrian walking in the area of Bartlett and Walnut streets on Feb. 15 at 12:30 p.m. reports that he was approached by a thin black male, approximately mid-20s wearing jeans and a white shirt with “NY” on it. The suspect pulled a small folding knife on him and demanded his money.

Burglaries

An apartment at 21 Howe St. was burglarized on Feb. 15 between 6 and 11:25 p.m. The doors had been locked and the point of entry is unknown. Loose change and a Playstation were stolen.

A residence at 54 Gina St. was burglarized between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Feb. 19. An iPod Nano was taken from inside.

An apartment at 135 Prospect Ave. was burglarized on Feb. 13 between 6:50 and 7:30 p.m. The suspect kicked in the front entry door and stole a Playstation 3; 10 games, and cash were taken.

An apartment at 253 Lincoln St., which was vacant due to a recent fire, was burglarized sometime between Feb. 16-19. Entry was gained through a rear door; 15 Hindu dolls, three dragons, two pewter wizards, and four glass elephants were stolen.

Operating Under the Influence Arrests

William Hodges, 34, was charged with operating under the influence and operating while license suspended on Feb. 16 at 12:16 a.m. at 34 College St. following a routine traffic stop.

Katherine Mercier, 43, was charged with operating under the influence on Feb. 16 at 1:43 a.m. at Birch and Knox streets following a routine traffic stop.
