Dear Sun Spots: I am looking for someone who can come to my house and help with the setting up of my TV, VCR, DVD. I have just had a satellite Dish installed. I went from having two TVs and VCRs set up, able to record two programs and watch a third. Now, because of the digital changes, I not only can’t do any of these things, I have also become incredibly stupid. I can’t make heads or tails of the “manual” and am not sure if things are connected correctly. Is there a “geek” out there that does house calls? I am sure there are lots of other people who need these services also. As far as I can see the only reason the digital switch has been forced on us is to make sure “everyone” pays for TV. Call 933-4228. – No Name, Monmouth.

Dear Sun Spots: REACH, the sexual assault center serving Oxford County, and the towns of Harrison and Bridgton are accepting donated items for upcoming indoor yard sales to help fund our personal safety programs that REACH provides to six school districts for children in grades kindergarten through seven. Items in useable, clean condition are welcome, such as toys, books, jewelry, household goods, sports and holiday items! No large appliances, TVs or computers please. Items may be dropped off at the REACH office, 1 East Main St, South Paris (one block from Market Square), or arrangements may be made for pickup by calling the office at 743-9777. – Suzanne Dunham, South Paris.

Dear Sun Spots: Awhile back someone was looking for Betty Crocker coupons. I think it was a school in the Bethel area. If they are interested I have quite a few thousand.

I’m looking for a kitchen flatware set by Pfaltzgraff, it has roses on the handle. If anyone has a set or spoons and small forks I would pay a fair price. Thank you. Call Gail at 627-4439. – Gail, Otisfield.
