La Survivance
LEWISTON – La Survivance Franaise will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in the senior citizens room at the Multi-Purpose Center, Birch St.
Fr. Bob Vaillancourt, diocesan director of vocations in the Diocese of Portland, will be the guest speaker. He will discuss how to promote vocations to the priesthood and to religious life in communities. Vaillancourt will also provide entertainment with his guitar.
New members are welcome.
Dog obedience
AUBURN – The Great Falls Dog Obedience Club will begin a six-week dog obedience class on Wednesday, March 4. Dogs and puppies must be at least three and a half months old and vaccinated.

Lunch, meeting
LEWISTON – The Androscoggin Retired Educators will meet on Wednesday, March 11, at the Green Ladle on the Lewiston High School campus at the Culinary Arts Center.
The meeting will begin at 11 a.m. with a guest speaker who will discuss and answer questions about MEA Benefits Trust and Anthem Insurance Coverage.
Lunch will consist of minestrone soup and a choice of chicken parmesan or meat lasagna. The cost is $10.95. Send reservations on or before Tuesday, March 3, to Pat McCluskey, 139 East Shore Road, Peru, ME 04290.

Sabattus seniors
SABATTUS – The Sabattus Senior Citizens will meet for a corned beef and cabbage meal on Thursday, March 5, at Maxwell Hall. To sign up, call Doris at 784-7950.
A trip is being planned to the Rocking Horse Dude Ranch, Sept. 21 to 25. The trip will include a day at the Monticello Casino, 12 meals and entertainment.
