AUBURN – Those interested in a healthy/fun oriented community activity might consider joining the Triple Crown Outing Club. An inaugural meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 30, in the Auburn Public Library’s community room to discuss some options.

The club will consist of an informal, low-maintenance, noncommittal group of outdoor enthusiasts who wish to go on two or three (or more) hikes between now and late fall.

Treks may range from day hikes to weekend trips throughout Maine and New Hampshire.
