SEBASCO ESTATES — Christina Ann Simoneau and Erik Carl Robert Wachtmeister were united in marriage on Sept. 13 in an outdoor ceremony held at Sebasco Harbor Resort at Sebasco Estates.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Simoneau of Livermore and June Simoneau of Hudson, N.H. The bridegroom is the son of Edward and Karen Wachtmeister of Warrenton, Va.
The wedding took place at 4 p.m. on the pool lawn overlooking the harbor and the Casco Bay Islands. The Rev. Stephen D. Parker, former chaplain of Salisbury School in Salisbury, Conn., officiated at the double ring ceremony.
A cocktail hour was held on the lawn and was followed by dinner and dancing in the Cornelius Room of the resort.
Matrons of honor for the bride were Allison Taylor Mannle and Michelle Probert. Serving as best men were Carl Wachtmeister, brother of the bridegroom, and Mark Fulton, college friend.
The bride is a graduate of Jay High School in Jay and a 1999 graduate of St. Lawrence University, where she was an English writing major.
The bridegroom graduated eighth grade from Highland School in Warrenton, Va. and graduated in 1995 from Salisbury School in Salisbury, Conn. He also attended St. Lawrence University, where he received his degree in geology in 1999.
Following their honeymoon at the Wakaya Club on the Wakaya Island in the Fiji Islands, the couple is dividing their time between Aspen, Colo., where they are employed in the ski industry, and Whitehall Farm on Warrenton, Va., where they work on the family farm.
