Breastfeeding
AUBURN – Expectant women and breastfeeding mothers are invited to the La Leche League meeting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at 102 Bennett Ave. Babies are always welcome.
Discussion will focus on “The Advantages of Breastfeeding for Mother and Baby.” All concerns about breastfeeding are welcome for discussion.

DAR service
LEWISTON – Mary Dillingham Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the home of Lois Gilbert, 60 Genest St.
It is the annual business meeting, memorial service and welcome home meeting for snowbirds. Members should bring a bag lunch; dessert and coffee will be provided.
Past State Regent Donna Hoffmann will discuss a program related to her new venture as a DAR museum docent. Prospective members are welcome.

Tables available
NEW GLOUCESTER – Sabbathday Lake Grange will have a sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16. Items will include white elephant treasures, cutlery and baked goods.
Those who would like to rent a table should call Pam Dyer at 657-4612. The cost is $10. The hall is located on Sabbathday Road.
Bridge winners
LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on May 4 were: first, Rosemarie Goodwin and Les Buzzell; second, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; third, Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe.
The highest masterpoint winners for April were: first/second tie, Dick Allen and Pete Cummings; second/third tie, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos.
