DOVER, N.H. (AP) – Two Massachusetts men have pleaded guilty to killing a Dover, N.H., man last summer.

Derek Saunders and Scott Mazzone, both of Byfield, Mass., were charged with conspiracy to commit murder when they were arrested in September, two days after 46-year-old David King was shot to death in his home.

After pleading guilty to lesser charges Thursday, Saunders was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison and Mazzone was sentenced to 33 years to life.

Foster’s Daily Democrat says prosecutors have not revealed a motive but say the victim’s girlfriend had once been married to Saunders’ father.
