PARIS  — The K-12 District Art Show has been canceled for this year. Instead, Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School Art will be displayed Tuesday May 12 through Friday May 15 in the forum at the high school. It is free and open to the public all day and during the evenings of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

In conjunction with this show of work of students grades 9-12, The Oxford Hills Drama Club will present their one-act play “The Girl Who Was Asked to Turn Blue” on at 7 p.m.Wednesday., May 13 in the auditorium.

Elementary artwork will be shown at area schools on the following schedule: at Harrison the week of May 27-June 3, in conjunction with a chorus concert on June 1 and a book fair. On Thursday May 14 there will be a show at Oxford Elementary. At Waterford, May 27, Otisfield May 28 and West Paris June 8, the artwork will be shown with music events and an academic fair.

Paris Elementary School has artwork on display through May 15th. The entire month of May, Rowe School Environmental Art Project will be on display in the windows of the Norway Savings Bank Operational Center on Main Street in Norway.

As usual, 100 of the best works of Oxford Hills students K-12 will be displayed at the Matolcsy Gallery of the Western Maine Art Group in Norway through May 29 with a grand opening on Friday May 22.

The SAD #17 districtwide Spring Art Show tradition for more than 20 years will return next year.
