LISBON – Ryan Conant hit a two-run double, then scored what proved to be the game-winning run as Winthrop scooped up a 3-2 victory over Lisbon in MVC baseball action Monday.

Brandon Dupuis went 2-for-3 for the Ramblers, while Frank Angelico had two hits for the Greyounds.

Mtn. Valley 12, Boothbay 0

BOOTHBAY – Justin Staires fanned ten batters en route to tossing a no-hitter as Mountain Valley rolled past Boothbay recording a 12-0 victory.

Anthony Vitale blasted a solo homer. Vitale and Matt Laubauskas had two hits apiece for the Falcons (7-0).

Edward Little 8, Messalonskee 2

OAKLAND – Josh Mains went 4-for-5 and had an RBI as Edward Little beat Messalonskee 8-2. Devin Flynn and Shane Cirello each had three hits and scored two runs for the Eddies (6-2).

Winning pitcher Cody Goddard struck out seven batters and giving up just two hits. Madison 7, Jay 5

JAY – Drew Moody had two hits and drove in three runs to lead Madison to a 7-5 win over Jay in MVC baseball action.

Moody delivered a two-run homer in the first inning to pace the Bulldogs (2-6). Moody also struck out eight and earned the win.

Gray-New Gloucester 5, Poland 1

POLAND – Joe Billings fanned eight and scattered five hits over seven innings to send Gray-New Gloucester to a 5-1 victory over Poland in WMC baseball action. Owen Chaplin and Christ Norton had two hits apiece for the Patriots (4-6). Matt Hyland had a double for the Knights (4-5).

Lewiston 17, Nokomis 0

NEWPORT — Alex Wong led all players with a two-run triple, while Mekae Hyde ended the day with three hits as Lewiston recorded a 17-0 win over Nokomis in five innings.

Wong, Conroy Leblond and Ben Wigant each had doubles as well. Jeff Keene collected the win for the Blue Devils (4-4) .

St. Dom’s 11, Sacopee Valley 0

SOUTH HIRAM – Casey Parker paved the way with two two-run doubles and four stolen bases as St. Dom’s shut down Sacopee Valley 11-0. A

Richard Paradis had two RBIs for the Saints (7-0).

Telstar 7, Georges Valley 6

BETHEL – James Kimball drove in the tying and go-ahead runs in the bottom of the sixth to lead Telstar to a 7-6 win.

Ben Cross had three hits, including an RBI double for the Telstar (3-3) Kyle Peterson earned the win.

Livermore Falls 10, Monmouth 2

LIVERMORE FALLS – James McLamb tossed a three-hitter to lead Livermore Falls to a 10-2 win over Monmouth in MVC baseball action.

McLamb fanned eight Mustangs. Chandler White stroked a pair of hits and drove in two for the Andies (7-1). Eric Smith had a double for Monmouth (2-5).

Mt. Blue 13, Leavitt 7

FARMINGTON – Alex Wallace rifled a three-run homer in the fifth inning as Mt. Blue defeated Leavitt 13-7.

Mt. Blue (4-4) exploded for six runs in the first inning, with help by Devin Zamboni who had a three-run double. Steve Roulliard blasted a two-run homer for the Hornets (2-6).

St. Dom’s 14, Windham 8

WINDHAM – Trevar Haefele paced the St. Dom’s attack with five goals and three assists as the Saints topped Windham 14-8 in boys lacrosse action. Tim Day had four goals, while Ben Adams and Matt Adams each had a pair
