L.L. Bean’s 28th annual PaddleSports Festival Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7, will feature a free oceanside cookout, free boat testing with hundreds of kayaks and canoes and the chance to speak with industry vendors and experts. Kapanya Kitabe of East African Outdoor Adventures will give a photo presentation on his journey to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. And there will be live bluegrass music, GPS treasure hunts and crafts for kids. The L.L.Bean Outdoor Discovery Schools will also offer 90-minute kayak tours of Casco Bay for $29.
