JAY — Police are investigating a break-in at the Jay Laundry Room on Route 4 that occurred either late Saturday or early Sunday.
Someone broke in and rummaged through items, police officer, Richard Caton IV said Tuesday.
It doesn’t appear anything was taken, he said.
Franklin County Sheriff’s and Carrabassett Valley Police departments are also investigating a burglary in Kingfield and an attempted burglary in Carrabassett Valley, respectively, that happened either late Saturday or early Sunday.
From $150 to $160 was taken from the Kingfield Woodsman Restaurant and burglars were scared off from Ayotte’s Store by an alarm.
Both of those businesses are on Route 27.
