Arrests/summonses
  June 29, 8:27 p.m., Denis Carrier, 55, of Rumford was summoned by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a charge of theft. Carrier is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.
 June 30, 9:57 a.m., Elizabeth Barnett, 20, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld on a charge of violating conditions of release. Barnett wasn’t permitted to post bail and was taken to the Oxford County Jail. Barnett is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.
 July 1, 8:32 a.m., Justin Foster, 23, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. K. Scott Mills on a charge of domestic assault. Foster posted $500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.
 
July 1, 3:09 p.m., Adam Downs, 28, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Matthew Noyes on a charge of violating conditions of release. Downs wasn’t permitted to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail. Downs is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.
 
July 1, 10:48 p.m., Lauren Lepage, 18, of Rumford was summoned by Ptl. Ian Theriault on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Lepage is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.
 
July 1, 10:48 p.m., Courtney Johnson, 19, of Mexico was summoned by Ptl. Ian Theriault on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Johnson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.
 
July 1, 10:48 p.m., Christopher Lowell, 20, of Mexico was summoned by Ptl. Ian Theriault on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Lowell is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.
 
July 1, 10:48 p.m., Niklaus Justard, 20, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Ian Theriault on a charge of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol and summoned for illegal possession of a usable amount of marijuana and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Justard posted $500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.
 
July 4, 12:15 a.m., Michael Gould, 19, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Lawrence Winson on a charge of violation conditions of release and summoned for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Gould wasn’t permitted to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail. Gould is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.
 
July 4, 1:35 a.m., Travis Tidswell, 32, of Mexico was arrested by Ptl. Lawrence Winson on a charge of operating under the influence and operating after suspension. Tidswell posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 8.
 
July 4, 2:11 a.m., Clifford Gammon, 40, of Rumford was arrested by Ptl. Ian Theriault on a charge of criminal trespass and terrorizing. Gammon was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail. Gammon is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.
Assault
 
June 30, 11:24 a.m., Maine Avenue resident reported her juvenile son was assaulted by another juvenile male. Resident did not wish to press charges; she just wanted the boy warned that his behavior was unacceptable.
Burglary
 
June 29, 9:48 a.m., Hancock Street business owner reported a possible attempt to gain entry. The door knob had minor damage. This was the second attempt in the last six weeks. Incident under investigation.
Crash
 
June 29, 4:30 p.m., Kristy Marin, 28, of Milton Township was operating a 2001 Dodge east on Route 2 when a tractor-trailer traveling west crossed the centerline and struck the Marin vehicle. The tractor-trailer failed to stop. There was approximately $7,000 damage to the front driver’s side of the Dodge. Marin sustained minor injuries.
Theft
 
June 29, 2:17 p.m., Maine Avenue resident reported someone took his $150 cell phone off his counter. Case under investigation.
 
July 1, 8:58 a.m., Cumberland Street resident reported someone took two mountain bikes out of their backyard. Case under investigation. No value listed for the bicycles.
 
July 1, 11:38 a.m., Rumford resident reported someone took one of his license plates possibly near Sam’s. Case under investigation.
 
July 1, 1:25 p.m., Rumford resident reported someone took one of his license plates possibly near Mountain Pool. Case under investigation.
 
July 2, 8:39 p.m., Congress Street business reported someone entered the business, took an order off the table and fled. Case under investigation.

July 4, 11:32 a.m., JFK Lane resident reported someone stole four $1 bills out of her wallet. Case under investigation.
Wanted
Chad Breton, 34, of Rumford is wanted on a Rumford Court warrant on charges of theft and misuse of an ID.
