River Valley residents have two opportunities to buy fresh, locally grown produce weekly. On Thursday, Evelyn Kenney of Upton was buying corn from Sue Billings, owner of Lloyd’s Farmstand, at the Rumford Farmers Market that sets up each Thursday at the information center parking lot. On Fridays, people can buy a wide variety of vegetables and meats at the River Valley Farmers’ Market in the parking lot of Labonville in Mexico.
