Coleen Violette and Anthony Elias

HARTFORD — Cheryl and Scott Steele of Hartford are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Coleen Violette of Hartford, to Anthony Elias of New Windsor, N.Y., son of Carol and Anthony Elias of New Windsor, N.Y.

Miss Violette is a 2003 graduate of Buckfield High School and is an active member of the United States Coast Guard, currently stationed in Mobile, Ala.

Mr. Elias is a 1997 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, N.Y., and is also an active duty member of the United States Coast Guard, currently stationed in Mobile, Ala.

The couple is planning to wed at 2 p.m. on Aug. 28, 2010, at Sunday River Ski Resort.
