Heather and Randy Letourneau

BAR HARBOR — Heather Morin and Randy Letourneau were married July 11 in Bar Harbor at the Bar Harbor Regency Hotel. The wedding was held outside overlooking the ocean.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Sandy Morin of Lewiston. The bridegroom is the son of Hank and Tina Letourneau of Litchfield.

The ceremony was officiated by Bill Cote. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Members of the family took part in the ceremony, which the couple created from a culmination of many different cultures and traditions.

Koral, niece of the bride, and Mya, daughter of the bridegroom, were flower girls. Jalen and Daymon, nephews of the bride, and Andrew, son of the bridegroom, participated as junior ushers. Mya and Andrew also participated in the rose ceremony. Brothers of the bride, Josh and Chris Morin, read the names of loved ones in memoriam to the sound of Tingsha bells. Maurice Morin, grandfather of the bride, and Kasey Blouin, girlfriend of Josh Morin, participated in the hand washing ceremony.

The bride wore a gown made of silk chiffon with pleated bodice wrapping around to a low cut back with beaded spaghetti straps and short train. Her bouquet was made of orange Calla lilies and red Gloriosa lilies.

A reception immediately followed at Galyn’s Restaurant on the waterfront in Bar Harbor. There was also a reception on Aug. 22 at the home of the couple for family and friends who did not attend the wedding. The couple spent their honeymoon in Bar Harbor, as well.

The bride is a graduate of Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, a teaching degree from the University of Southern Maine, and a master’s degree in environmental teaching from the University of Southern Maine. She currently owns and operates Guthries in Lewiston.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Lewiston High School and also owns and operates Guthries in Lewiston.

The couple is residing in Lewiston with their two children, Mya and Andrew.
